In the instant a photo is captureda memory is as well. Photography isn't just an art, it is a form of historical preservation that allows the viewer to visually experience a moment in the past. The photos that we take now are going to last much longer than our own lifetime. The advent of digital media and the sheer number of photos taken every day insures that every major event of our lives will be recorded in some way for many future generations to come.

Not all photos are created equalLooking through old photos, it is sometimes fascinating to see how much character a stylized portrait can give someone. A simple mugshot doesn't do much justice to describe the type of person someone truly is, a photographer must go above and beyond to capture not just a picture but the memory of someone, or something.

100% Organic LightJust like organic foods, the use of natural light can be more taxing. However, the price is well worth the reward. The use of natural light in photography not only emphasizes the natural beauty of the environment, but the people in it as well. Flash makes oily skin appear even more oily, and natural shadows disappear from the subject. The result is images that appear slightly off and a little less admirable. We don't use any artificial lighting if it isn't necessary, period.
